This list is not in any particular order, and needless to say, this list will change when some newer models are released to the world. These are the Android running phones that you can buy today, and all of them will give you excellent performance.


Samsung Galaxy S
This phone was released in June 2010, and it has pushed the Apple iPhone all the way. It is definitely one of the best Android phones that money can buy today. The 4 inches screen is great for watching videos, and you also have DivX and XviD support, so you can just watch movies and videos out of the box. It runs on Android 2.1 (Eclair), and an update to Android 2.2 (Froyo) is already here. All this without mentioning the amazing 480x800 pixels Super AMOLED display, which will simply blow your mind away. Samsung has created a true monster of a device here, and you have to see this phone to believe it. You will also get a 5 MP camera, a 1GHz processor, Bluetooth 3.0 support and the amazingly accurate Swype text input.

HTC Desire HD
HTC has been the pioneer of Android based devices, and this is its latest smartphone offering. This phone was released in October 2010, and its 4.3 inches S-LCD screen certainly packs a punch. It comes with Android 2.2 out of the box, and it offers you an 8 MP camera, a 1GHz processor, and amazing 720p HD recording and playback. On that monster of a screen, any your videos will look stunning, and you also have XviD and DivX support. HTC's Sense UI is pretty neat, and those who love it absolutely swear by it.

Google Nexus One
This is definitely one of the top 10 Android phones around, simply because Google created a phone themselves. This device showed the world what Android is really all about. You must also know that Google tied up a contract with HTC to manufacture this phone, and this is why most Android running HTC phones usually resemble the Nexus One closely. You will get a 3.7 inches, 480x800 pixels, AMOLED capacitative touchscreen here. Add to this a 1GHz processor, a 5 MP camera and support for all of Google's services, and you will see the greatness of this top Android phone. When a new version of Android comes out, (the soon to be coming Android 3.0 Gingerbread), the Nexus One will be one of the first devices to get the update. Motorola Droid X
Released in July 2010, many claim that the Droid X is the best Android mobile phone around. Motorola has really made a splash by embracing Android for its Motorola Droid series, and the Droid X is the cream of the crop. A 4.3 inches TFT capacitative touchscreen with density of 480x854 pixels is the closest sharpness you get to the iPhone 4, and this is what makes this phone so special. Add to that a 8 MP camera, another 1GHz processor, 720p HD video support, and many other great features. All these makes this a great Android phone to pick. HTC Evo 4G
This amazing device is definitely one of the top 10 Android phones today, but its impact is severely weakened by the fact that it is only available in the United States. On the scene since June 2010, this top Android phone comes with a 4.3 inches TFT capacitative screen, HTC Sense UI, a 8 MP camera, a 1GHz processor, and plenty of other great features. It is one of the best phones for playing the best Android games as well. Please note that this is a CDMA phone, and not a GSM phone. The need for a smartphone is getting highly intense amongst a majority of consumers today, and this is something that Android is going to take maximum advantage of.
